These are community nights built for people who still like being active, laughing too hard, trying ridiculous things, meeting good people, and leaving the house for something better than another night scrolling or sitting at a bar.

The Experience
There was something good about growing up before everything became so digital.
Long summer nights outside. Neighborhood games that somehow lasted for hours. Knowing the people around you. Actually doing things instead of just watching them.
Adult Recess is built around bringing a little bit of that feeling back.
Not in a forced or overly nostalgic way — just simple, active, community-centered nights that give people a reason to get together and have fun again.
Some events are competitive. Some are ridiculous. Most involve laughing harder than you expected to.
At the end of the day, it’s really just about creating the kind of community people are craving more of:
good people, shared experiences, movement, fresh air, and nights worth remembering.

Turns out, Nerf battles are just as fun as an adult. Grab a blaster, choose your team, and battle through a night of elimination rounds, and other game modes designed to keep everyone moving. Whether you’re in it to win or just want an excuse to play again, Nerf Night is a pretty great way to spend an evening.

Remember when all it took was a park, a few friends, and someone yelling, “You’re it!”? Playground Games brings back the classics with an evening of capture the flag, flashlight tag, dodgeball, kickball, relay races, and a few surprises along the way. It’s active, a little competitive, and a great reminder that growing up never meant you had to stop playing.

Nope. Bring your friends or come solo. Adult Recess is designed to be welcoming, and we’ll make sure you feel part of the fun.
IS THIS COMPETITIVE?
Absolutely—and that’s part of the fun. We play to win, celebrate great effort, and cheer each other on. Bring a champion’s mindset, a good attitude, and remember: nobody likes a sore loser.
IS ALCOHOLD INVOLVED?
Adult Recess isn’t centered around alcohol. We think great community is built by doing fun things together—not by needing a drink in your hand.
DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER?
No. Adult Recess is currently open to everyone, making it easy to join us for a single event or come back for every one.
WHAT AGES ARE APPROPRIATE FOR ADULT RECESS?
Adult Recess is designed for adults ages 21 and up. We’re less concerned about your age than your attitude. If you’re ready to move, play, laugh, and cheer people on, you’re in the right place.
WHAT IF I’VE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE?
Perfect. Adult Recess is designed to be welcoming, whether you’re naturally competitive or just looking for a fun night out. We’ll explain the games, keep things moving, and make sure everyone can jump in.
