WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE
a membership organization?
TREK Adventure Club operates as a membership-based youth organization to foster consistency, connection, and community.
Once your family becomes a member, you’re part of the broader TREK community and gain access to our year-round programs, experiences, and member benefits. Membership allows us to plan intentionally, maintain program quality, and build meaningful, long-term relationships with families.
Membership benefits include:
TREK swag for each child on their first day of attendance
Free Kid’s Night Out events for members
Discounted rates on select programs
Early access to program registration
Additional member benefits added throughout the year
An annual membership is required to participate in most TREK programs.
Annual Membership: $175 per family
TREK Adventure Club operates as a membership-based homeschool enrichment program serving families who have chosen to direct their children’s education.
TREK does not operate as a school and does not provide primary academic instruction. Core subjects such as math and literacy remain the responsibility of the parent or primary educator.
Our programming is designed to supplement, not replace, parent-directed education by offering enrichment experiences, hands-on learning opportunities, and community-based activities.
Participation in TREK is elective and membership-based. Families maintain full responsibility for their child’s educational decisions and oversight.
TREK is structured to operate within applicable exemptions and does not function as a licensed childcare provider.
WHAT PROGRAMS
are you offering?
TREK Adventure Club offers year-round programming designed to support children across seasons and stages. Our programs share a common philosophy and rhythm, while remaining age-appropriate and developmentally aligned.
Current offerings include:
Homeschool Enrichment (Co-Op)
A weekly enrichment program serving the homeschool community through hands-on learning, outdoor experiences, and collaborative group work.
TREKKIES (Specialty Programs)
Short-term, skill-focused experiences designed to dive deeper into specific interests. Offerings rotate throughout the year.
School’s Out, TREK’s In!
Enrichment programs offered during school breaks, providing structure, connection, and engaging experiences when schools are not in session.
Upgraded Summer
Our summer program runs June through August and offers camp-style days rooted in hands-on learning, adventure, and community.
Club 56
Designed specifically for the bridge years (ages 9–13), Club 56 offers increased independence, deeper conversations, and real-world challenges in a supportive group setting.
Rocky Mountain Cotillion
A modern manners and social development program for ages 10–15, focused on confidence, character, and respectful social engagement.
How are age groups structured?
We currently serve children ages 5–13, with programming typically organized into:
Younger learners (approximately ages 5–9)
Club 56 (approximately ages 9–13)
Groups often explore shared themes while participating in developmentally appropriate activities and challenges.

to participate in TREK?
TREK Adventure Club operates as a membership-based organization.

WHERE
are you located?
TREK Adventure Club’s learning hub is located in the Red Village at the Outlets at Silverthorne.

If you park in the back lot near the recycling center, our space is close to the corner unit on the left as you walk up.
This location serves as our central learning hub, and from here we regularly expand out into the surrounding community for outdoor learning, field experiences, and local exploration.
WHAT AGES
does TREK serve?
TREK Adventure Club currently serves children ages 5–13.
Children are grouped into mixed-age pods based on developmental stage and ability, allowing for collaboration, leadership, and age-appropriate challenge.
Current pods include:
Ages 5–9
Club 56 (ages 9–13)
What is Club 56?
Club 56 is designed specifically for the bridge years — the space between early childhood and the teen years.
Fifth and sixth grade aren’t “little kid” years anymore, but they’re not quite adolescence either. Club 56 offers more independence, deeper conversations, and real-world challenges, all within a supportive group of peers and guides.
It’s a place for big ideas, growing confidence, and meaningful adventures with a crew you can grow alongside.
Do you plan to serve older ages in the future?
Yes. TREK plans to continue growing to serve youth through age 18 with developmentally appropriate programming.
As part of that growth, we anticipate offering a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) pathway for teens ages 13–18.

WHAT IS YOUR
cancellation policy?
Because TREK programs are intentionally sized and staffed based on enrollment, cancellations impact our ability to plan and deliver high-quality experiences. While we’re always sad to see a family step away, we aim to be fair and transparent in our policies.
Summer Programs
Cancellations receive a program credit that may be applied toward a future TREK program.
Credits are valid for up to one (1) year from the date of cancellation and a credit will be issued to your account.
Cancellations within 14 days of your child’s first day of participation:
A program credit will be issued for one (1) year, minus a $15 administrative fee.
Emergencies:
We understand unforeseen circumstances can arise. In these cases, cancellations, credits, or refunds may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at TREK’s discretion.
Illness & Absences
If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please notify us as soon as possible.
Daily absences: TREK does not offer refunds or credits for individual missed days.
Extended illness: For illnesses resulting in three (3) or more consecutive missed days, a partial program credit may be issued for future enrollment, at TREK’s discretion.
Make-up days: When possible, we may offer a transfer or make-up day based on availability; these are not guaranteed.
Doctor’s note: For extended absences, a doctor’s note may be required to qualify for a credit or to return to programming.
Kids Night Out (KNO)
Kids Night Out is a popular member benefit, and space is limited.
Registration is first-come, first-served.
Once registered, attendance is expected so we can plan staffing, supplies, and food accordingly.
If you are unable to attend, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer the spot to another family.
No-Show Policy:
After two no-shows without notice, a family’s ability to register for upcoming Kids Night Out events may be temporarily paused to ensure fair access for all members.

DO YOU OFFER
scholarships?
Yes. TREK Adventure Club is committed to serving as many children in our community as possible and making our programs as accessible as we can.
We offer scholarships and financial assistance to help offset the cost of participation. Families who need support are encouraged to complete our scholarship request form.
We continually work to expand the number of scholarships and assistance opportunities available as funding allows.
WHAT WILL MY
child need?
TREK operates year-round with an emphasis on outdoor and hands-on learning. We spend time outside most days when weather conditions are safe and appropriate.
To support your child’s comfort and participation, please plan to send them prepared for the day and the season.
Please pack:
A snack
A water bottle
A lunch (for full-day programs)
Sun protection as needed (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)
Season-appropriate clothing and footwear
(For example: winter layers and snow gear, or lighter layers for warmer weather)
Being prepared for the elements helps children stay engaged, comfortable, and ready to fully participate in TREK activities.
